Here’s what we need to provide a quote:
Type of engraving
BASIC PLATES
WHAT WE NEED:
- Color of letters (example: white)
- Color of background (example: black)
- Text for each plate (Text on line 1, text on line 2, etc.)
- Size of each plate (example: 2″H x 3″W)
- Height of letters (will be sized to fit if not specified)
- Placement and size of mounting holes (if required)
- Any special requirements?
METAL PLATES
WHAT WE NEED:
- Type of metal (example: stainless steel, brass, aluminum, anodized aluminum, etc.)
- Text for each plate (Text on line 1, text on line 2, etc.)
- Size of each plate (example: 2″H x 3″W)
- Height of letters (will be sized to fit if not specified)
- Placement and size of mounting holes (if required)
- Any special requirements?
LOGOS / GRAPHICS
WHAT WE NEED:
- Please supply a vector file with the graphic or logo
- A “vector” file allows the image to be enlarged or reduced with no loss of quality or resolution
- If a vector file can not be supplied, please supply the highest quality bitmap or jpeg file
- Same information as the basic plates
- A rough sketch or drawing of the layout of the plate is very helpful
Note: CAD drawings such as .dxf and .dwg work very well and can easily be translated to our laser engraving software. Here’s also an example spreadsheet that works well for sending the information for large orders.
